We have 2 APC rack units. Both batteries were replaced.
UPS Model: SMT1500RM2UC
Battery Cartridge used: APCRBC159
Shouldn't this cartridge replace all the batteries in the UPS?
We were able to clear the message at first by running the internal self-diagnostics test right after installation. After a couple of months, we are seeing the message again.
I'm not seeing a place to set the "battery date" on the mini-LCD menu.
Is there a special way to reboot this or something?
I also think it's draining fairly fast while under <20% load during my testing. It went from 100% to 90% in about 1 minute when unplugged. This seems like it would make sense if it were running at 100% load. But using the calculator on the APC website, we should getting almost an hour of uptime.
EDIT/UPDATE:
So I found that if I go to "About" in the mini-LCD menu, it shows that the battery was replaced in 2020 and that the next date to install a new battery is August 2023. When I try to press enter on either of those so I can edit, it just shows "Invalid Key".
So I don't know how to edit that.
