I've got 3 servers (tower style) and a pretty basic APC 1500 UPS powering all 3. The supplied APC software only allows me to gracefully shutdown the USB connected server, the other two will just hard shutdown when the UPS runs out of power.
Is there software out there that I can install on all three servers that links back to the server with the USB connected UPS and can get the signal to begin a graceful shutdown?
Caveat: I know this is a far from ideal setup, I just started at this place and am getting things to the point where I can sleep a little more soundly at night until I can convince them to tear it all out and start fresh.
