Hi there, sorry if it's a newbie question but I've recently purchased an Eaton 5sc1500 UPS to use at home and I've noticed that the battery on the loses charge quite rapidly if I turn it off and disconnect from mains: I turned it off once for a couple of hours and when I plugged it back in, the battery was reported to be down to 90% from full 100% when I turned it off. Not sure why it should do that, my old APC SUA1500 doesn't do that, it might lose 1% at the most in 2 hours, if that. Keep in mind that this happens when everything connected to UPS is powered down and mains are still up - I just did it for some electric work and turned everything off precisely to avoid discharging batteries for no reason.
My question is whether this is normal for Eaton 5sc to discharge batteries this much when it's completely turned off or are the...
