Fresh install of ESXi 6.7. Migrated some VM's. Everyone is happy. However, I used to have my couple of Tripp Lite USB attached UPS connected to a physical server which has now been virtualized. No physical servers on the network. I connected the UPS's to the host (Dell R740), passed the UPS's to my selected VM, which all showed up in Device Manager), but the Tripp Lite Power Alert Local does not see them ( kinda wasnt expecting it). However, I cant seem to find a viable alternative other then putting a physical machine back on the network. I have looked at NUT, but I have little to no experience with Linux and wouldnt even know where to start. I also looked at vMA, but the VM wont launch, its looking for IP Pool settings, but google-fu on how to configure them seems to be missing in 6.7. Any ideas? TIA.
