Is there a way to connect some sort of monitoring device to determine the power consumption of a specific device connected to my UPS? When we originally purchased the UPS we simply went through the manufactures manuals looking for Max Load and tried to buy enough battery power for that load. It was obviously a guess.
What I'd like to do is hook up some sort of meter to the system and get the actual draw during normal operations, shut down, and start up.
Anyone know of a device that does this? Can it be rented? Are there companies you are aware of that provide this type of service for a one time fee?
