I am trying to connect to a Tripp Lite SNMPWEBCARD. I can see the card via ping, via Powerlalert software. I even updated the card to the latest firmware via the Poweralert software. But everytime I try to go to the IP of the card via a browser I get a blank screen with this "Click here for help with applets". I click there it just tells me about downloading Java. I have tried Firefox, Chrome, Chrome with IE tabs, and IE.
I am assuming that maybe it only works on an older version of Java. If that is true, if I install an old version of Java on my computer with the latest version of Java, will that mess things up?
