Hey folks, I am look ing for a simple and cheap way to monitor a couple of things.
1) When the building power is out.
2) Duration of outage.
Case: In our server room, the racks are on UPS's. Then the entire room is on a generator. So the servers do not really know when the entire building is without power and neither to the UPS's as they are fed by the generator.
So I would like to find some simple device I can plug into the wall in my office (which is not on the generator) and have it "record" power outages. Date, Time, duration. That's it. One would think that this would be a fairly simple device to make. Does anyone know of such a device?
