I have incident here that 1 DL360 server (2nd psu on the way) restarted and my workstation power off after office hours. Few days before i have a DSL modem broken and our ISP ask me to use UPS, which i said - I am using UPS.
After checking, both units are connected to unmanage slot of surge protector power strip connected to Triplite 3KVA UPS.
Since there is no more slot for manage on that power strip, i instead put another power surge before i put DL360 and my workstation. After that all looks normal again.
It looks like both units are affected by power surge even behind UPS, I thought UPS have built in power surge and conditioner to supply healthy electricity to my servers.
We don't get power from government's electric company but instead our resort has its own generator to power the entire resort.
