Eaton UPS network card disconnecting from mail server

We have several Eaton 9PX UPS's at various locations, each with a Eaton network card.

I have set up a postfix mail server to send alerts on certain event triggers, especially now with loadshedding in South Africa, to get notifications when AC input is present and when not (i.e loadshedding occurs and when generator kicks in)

But in the mail.log file, there is an intermittent issue where the device tries to connect, then fails, then disconnects. And later on the next alarm trigger, the mails get sent as normal. The last 3 lines in the log is where the issue occurs.
