I have a little Eaton 9355 3-Phase 15kVA which has Normal Mode (Utility charges the batteries and the batteries run the inverter which feeds the load) and High Efficiency Mode (a smart bypass I presume?).
Recently I connected a larger Eaton 9355 3-phase 40kVA with very similar menu, except I cannot find the High Efficiency Mode there at all! I did check the manual, it says that I should have HE mode, but no, no luck.
I run via bypass now and set a nominal voltage of -/+ 7% limits on input, however I feel High Efficiency Power Strategy should better suit my needs.
Also, Battery Test option is missing in my case, but is mentioned in the manual.
Finally, I have 4 strings of batteries, but want to replace them gradually as I fear they will damage my UPS. One string (36 batteries) has already overheated and inflated so much,...
