3 times the price for the same UPS capacity

I'm spec'ing a new rack or two, to host 20 headless remote workstations. Each system' real-life consumption at absolute 100% utilization is 450W, so 9KW total @ 120V.

Taking a quick look at APC's planner, I'm offered solutions starting at $13K for 10KVA.

If I bought 10 x BR1500 workstation units, they'd run under $2.5K. Even doubling that, for $5K you can get 30KVA capacity (17KW) with a decent amount of runtime.

Of course I don't want to setup 20 "consumer" UPS's and would rather have a small number of high-end components to manage, but I don't have a good answer to justify spending 3 times more for the same results. Do you?
