I need some help with a UPS communication connection problem.
We have the following configuration:
Model: 5PX3000RT2U
P/N: 9210-8128-00P
Windows 10 Ent 2016 LTSB
Intelligent Power Protector in Version 1.68 release 165
The UPS is connected over an USB cable to a master PC. The master PC is connected over a direct network connection to a slave PC. The slave PC loose frecently the connection to the UPS. After some time it reconnect automaticaly.
This disconnection apears aproximatley minumum one time a hour. You get the message: "Communication with device has failed."
It seems that it has something to do with the firewall on the master PC. When we turn off the public firewall, we don't get connection errors.
We have set some rules in the firewall but they don't help:
