Servers powering from ups straight through?

See below ups,

Would you advise 4 servers (brand new) Xeon 128GB ram cannot remember model. Plugged directly into ups then ups to wall?  So all power is coming in and out from the ups?
Same with networking equipment Top of rack switch - 2 sonicwall firewalls, in that room, straight from plug socket to ups?

Is this best practice?
