Getting people past a power glitch (such as switching to generator) is a pretty common requirement. And under-the-desk 350VA-type standby power supplies are pretty common.
I've got a variety of Eaton, APC, and CyberPower systems kicking around. And when they go bad, I just replace the batteries, right?Apparently, not with the CyberPowers.
While checking out a new purchase, I always look up battery replacements. Here's the CyberPower page.
This is not some 10-year old UPS. This is a currently selling model. And Your UPS battery is not replaceable? I've just had to throw away some of these because they used a non-standard battery and I couldn't find either an official or generic replacement.
Non-replaceable battery? Shame.
This is why I've switched to all Eaton.
