So, I'm looking for a solution to keep a few critical workstations up and running when a sudden power loss occurs in our company.
The good thing is that our production web servers hosted on a datacenter on the cloud, so our websites keep running no matter what.
In our company building, there are only 2 DC's, local web servers and database servers and network equipment that used only by internal stuff so there is no immediate need to keep these running. Although there is already a UPS plan on those for a short period of a power loss (like 5 mins or so).
Our initial plan is to keep at least 2 workstations up and running with an immediate response to a downtime like 2 mins. Note that the workstations are desktop computers and no laptops are being used (yet).
One of the main requirements is to have a VPN connection to our production...
