I have 2 units, one is a US2200XL and the other is SMART or SMARTPRO2200...
The former was bot new and put on shelf after original set of batteries wore out. Then a couple years later, new batteries and its producing a Continuous FAULT light. This particular UPS is loaded with electronics to perform signal conditioning.
The other one just quit working.
Both have absolutely no indication of internal physical damage - not a blistered IC.
Both are $1000 cost UPS's and it appears they are throw-aways. No circuit diagrams. No repairs offered.
What an unfortunate waste.
