I'm trying to find a clear answer as to which outlets are the Main Outlet Group, Controlled Outlet Group, UPS Outlets, and Outlet Group 1.
I have the Smart 2200VA 120V:
Group1 (Number 4) is obvious, but then I have Number 6 pointing to things as just "Outlets". In the APC documentation they refer to "Main Outlet Group" and "Controlled Outlet Group". They also refer to "Switched Outlet Group" but I'll assume that is the same as "Controlled" and thus Controlled and Switched outlets are the three outlets in "Group 1".
Is everything else a "Main" outlet? Why are outlets A. and B. outside the group? just because they're 20A?
If I have a server that is running PowerChute and has redundant power supplies, should both power supplies be in the same group? I would think so, and I would think that the group that server is in should be Main because...
