How to get Struxterwear and Schneider Net Managemt card to talk

I have some APC units and have purchased the NMCv2 cards. I have installed the card in the first unit and have the IP, Then I have the server setup. Now i cant figure out how to link the 2 of them together. In the documentation from Schneider all it says is to make sure SNMPv1 and FTP are enabled....which I have checked and they are. Thanks in advance.
