I have a CyberPower CP750LCD and it turns out the unit does not power back on automatically after the battery has drained due to a power outage. Go ahead and shoot me....
I must be stupid for thinking that today's current UPS's power up after a power outage and resume power delivery to the system that's plugged into to it. It's only 420 watts and plenty of power to operate a small network switch under most normal situations. When I determined what had occurred I called the vendor who asked if I read all the documentation on the unit before we started using it, does anyone? The engineer then said that power resumption is not a feature of this unit. I wonder now if it's a feature of any of their units???
What good is a UPS if it doesn't resume power after an outage? I'm a bit miffed and asked to return the unit now that it's past 90 days...
