So over the weekend, our UPS3000 decided to go into an "overload" state, raising a constant alarm and alerting us by text and email. We have a backup UPS as part of our failover which took over the load and without any issues.
I've never done any work with battery units like this before and I am currently trying to workout why the UPS has gone into this mode. The load has not changed whatsoever, and as mentioned, when the exact same setup switches onto our backup UPS 3000 (exact same model), there are no issues and all sustains fine.
I'm not sure how long we've had the UPS for, but it's at least 3 years, probably closer to 5.
Here's what I have so far..
Turn UPS on and battery level indicator shows full battery charge
After 2-3 seconds, sustained beep occurs and 'On-battery power' lights up Orange
