Long story short our campus is wired incorrectly, rather than have everything run back to the IDF/MDF we have about 15 small switches in drop ceilings. All core gear is on a UPS, but if our power blips (as it does a couple times a year) these secondary switches all lose power which as a result brings down most of the Wifi briefly.
In the interim while we consider rewiring our entire campus, I'm looking for a real small UPS, a Micro UPS if such a thing even exists. Just something to old our little Cisco SG300's over during brief power interruptions.
The smallest i've found so far is a ~6 pound 180W from Tripplite. A lot of these are in area's with drop ceilings, ideally it'd be something light enough to sit on top of a drop ceiling and not need to be mounted. The concern with something bigger/heavier is it being too heavy for the...
