I came in to theoffice Friday morning to find the server was powered down, no errors. All ofthe other devices in the cabinet were still powered up fine. I hit the powerbutton on the HP DL380 G7 Server and Powered it back up and everything wentnormal.
After searchingthrough the logs I found that the server had been given the shutdown commandfrom the Eaton UPS software.
I can't see anypower events in the log so it was operating on Line AC power with no dips oroutages.
UPS log entries:
2016/02/04-20:05:20:919ShutdownManager/Shutdown/Hibernate type 4 level 2 message shutdown detailsunable to execute shutdown type 'hibernate', try standard shutdown
2016/02/04-20:05:20:961ShutdownManager/Shutdown type 4 level 1 message shutdown details execute
and the server wasshutdown.
Has anyone seen thiswith the Eaton UPS?
I seem to rememberthat we had this...
