One of the parts I enjoy most about being a Product Manager at CyberPower Systems is the interaction with end users and customers. A very important part of that interaction is getting feedback and ideas to make our products better, more useful, easier to use, and keep current with requirements.
One requirement that has been coming up more frequently is security protocols supported by the UPS Remote Management Card (network card). I recently had a firsthand experience with a government agency requirement to pass McAfee Foundstone penetration testing. Because the agency had a custom series of tests that, for security reasons, couldn’t be shared we had no idea if we would pass. I was excited to find out we did!
