I'm in the midst of configuring the Eaton onboard software (network connected machine) and UPS Power Protector software and I'm confused. Using the Power Protection software I set a non-critical server to shut down after 10 seconds. What I initially thought was after 10 seconds on battery. But looking at the UPS interface (on the Eaton itself) the shutdown parameters say shutdown if time remaining is under 180 seconds or if capacity is under 20%.
Would I have to adjust the shutdown parameters on the Eaton by setting the capacity to under 98% to get the non-critical server to shutdown after 10 seconds? Can someone please clarify this for me? Thanks
