Hi All,
I want to know if its possible to Add a node manually to the IPM. I did try to add one through "User drivers editor", but somehow I cant find it. Even if I search directly on the ip-address. (ofc. i can find and ping it normally, but not throgh IPM)
The Enviroment:
We just installed a new UPS, and at Segment #1 i have all my servers. At segment #2 i have my Oracle SL3000 Robot. I cant install IPP, cause its not a Windows machine, but just a Network based and controlled robot arm. However, i want to add my SL3000 in the node list, so i can tell the UPS, its connected on Segment #2 and have to kill the power when 30% left.
OR is it pointless, and should i just go directly into the UPS interace, and tell close Segment #2 when 30% battery power left... The idea was to have a complete overview at IPM, i allso want to add nodes for the fiber switch, normal switch, router, and monitor. I would love to have an option, just to add a node manually and set VA/W usage at max load. Like adding a node called "CISCO Switch", load cap 75W, and add it to Segment #2, then IPM knows how much the VA usage is and can calculate it with the battery consumption...
