I recently encountered a problem with a few Eaton Network M2 cards, each of which is connected to UPS 5PX3000RT2U.
I launched the Firmware update (3.1.8 from EATON website) of several cards in my company and after the update three of my cards did not respond anymore. At first, I thought they'd simply changed IP address, but after going directly to them, no IP address or mac was displayed on the UPS.
I tried the following solutions to solve the problem.
- I restarted the UPS.
- I unscrewed the card to remove it and reinserted it.
- I pressed the RESTART button for more than 10 seconds.
- I tried to connect a Micro USB cable on the card to a laptop to connect to the RNDIS web interface (nothing appears in Windows, I tested on a functional card and I have a network card that is automatically added normally).
