How to have IPMv2! shutdown gracefully an esxi with all his VMs

Hi,
Lots of doc for IPMv1 but not much for v2.
Basic essential question:

How to have IPMv2! shutdown gracefully an esxi with all his VMs.

First: do I choose "Hardware Action" and in there "Turn off Server" or
"IT Action" and in there all this:
Do you select "vApp Power Action" or "VM Action" or "Host Power Action" or "Server Action"...nothing clear there ...
And Once the hosts is off, after the power outage, I want it to turn back on. That part is probably controlled by the physical server bios?

And I don't see my VM listed, Why?
IPMv1 made so much more sense...
