I have been in IT for a long time and I have setup a number of APC, TrippLite, CyberPower, etc. UPS systems so I very familiar with the installation and configuration of such systems. We have a few customers that use Eaton. Small server environments, usually two HyperV hosts running 5-10 VM's each.
All I want to do is configure the UPS to shutdown the HyperV hosts, which in turn will take care of shutting down all the VM's. For the life of me I can't figure it out with IPM v2!
With v1.x I was able to figure it out, but with 1.7 going EOL in a year and a half I figured it was time to move to v2.
I have installed the IPM VM, It sees the UPS, but how do I tie it in to the Windows VMhost? All the instructions and video demonstrations seem to be for VMWare. The user manual doesn't cover it. (Rev 2.5.0 06/07/2022).
