Reset Password or UPS/ Autopower on

Hi guys,

I forgot the password for my APC Smart UPS 1000-XL. I normally access the UPS features and config via APC Powerchute for Server 2012.

Any ideas on how to reset? Thanks.

Also, I have a question for that same model. Should we have a power outage and the UPS Battery is depleted, would the UPS power on when power returns?

I also have auto power on for server setup when power is restored, but I'm intrested to know what happens when the server is shutdown by Powerchute but the UPS has battery power. When power is restored, does the auto power on feature of the server after power is restored detected by the server to power on itself?
