Hello,
We have ordered some new cryogenic equipment that is cooled down to about 100 K with a cryocooler. We need to use a UPS to keep the cryocooler running in case of short (max few hours) network power failures. If there is a long power failure, such that the UPS batttery runs out of power and the UPS does not deliver any power to the cryocooler , the UPS must NOT switch on when the network power has returned. In this case the cryogenic equipment must be warmed up to room temperature before it can be cooled down again. The warming up of the equipment takes up to 24 hours.
I have tried to search for UPS models which support this feature, but I could not find any models that can do that. Perhaps this is a normal feature that all UPS models have? I appreciate any advice I can get regarding this.
Best regards,
Johan
