one of our client had a unexpected power outage at the site recently. And not only one - but two within 3 days :) .... First was an power outage for entire city, second was when his office got flooded.... just a bad luck I would say. However, it ended up with a major issue for the EXCHANGE server so I would like to review his current UPS solutions and try to make it work better if possible. Problem is, that I have almost 0 experience with UPS that are used in RACK for the racked equipement and would like to start to get familiar with it upcoming days.
As we have not been warned at all about the outage, there was an uncontrolled sut down of all devices in the RACK. No one didnt know about the power issue until the client came to site to work next day. And, here are some basics I would like to ask about the inteligence of UPSes:...
